The claims handler may request a clarification on an evaluation that you have signed. The purpose of this function is to ensure that the evaluations are clear and easy to understand, also for the claimant. It may be used for example if something is unclear to the claims handler or they want to question something in the evaluation. There is no compensation for answering clarification requests since this is related to the evaluation already done and something is not clear.


If the claims handler has included new questions in the clarification request then advise them to create a new evaluation for these. If you are unsure you can always contact Mavera support. 


You can either change the evaluation or write an answer in the clarification request section. We recommend that you adjust the evaluation as the preferred option to make it clear and understandable to the claimant since the evaluation is often sent to the claimant. 


Click the "Edit"-button to make the evaluation editable if you want to edit.




The reply to the claims handler is then prepopulated with the text "The statement has been changed after clarification:


 You can now edit the evaluation and thereafter click "Sign and send". The evauation is sent to the claims handler and status is changed to "Clarification answered".
